Motion made and carried to waive reading of minutes.
The Grand Knight read applications for membership approved by the Admissions Committee
as follows: No activity.
The results of balloting were : No activity.
The Council conferred the First Degree on the following: Joseph Green and Timothy Busch
The Grand Knight reported as follows: 1) Knight of the Month, Bill Murray, 2) Family of the Month,
Edwin and Teresita Eugenio.  Fr. Lawrence stepped down as Pastor.  Discussion to follow meeting.
Thank you's from the Bothell Police Dept. for Nat'l Night Out.  Special thanks to Del Treichel and presentation
of $1500 to Safe Place for Newborns.  Shining Armor Award winners Marc McGuire and
Christopher Mitchell.
The Chaplain report as follows: No activity.
The Treasurer report as follows: B. Buendia reports as of 9/1/04, deposit of $1247 from fundraiser, rcpt 
#707. 
The Grand Knight read receipts for 1) $665.50 and 2) $582.50.  Reading of bills, $200 for vests.
The Financial Secretary report as follows: No activity.
The Trustees report: No activity.
Insurance report:  Council 6686 received Star Council Award.
The Chancellor report: No activity
Service Programs reports as follows:  Community:  Edwin Eugenio, 5 Knights, 3 wives spent 54 hrs 
serving 3600 lbs of food providing 338 meals.  Council:  Marc McGuire, Bud Edgar is doing well.  Family:
Ken Schlosser, congatulates the Eugenios and Bill Murray for their awards. 9/6 Picnic, we need 11 installers. 
Bring a dish to the noon picnic.  Pro Life: Jim Anderson, Pro Life expanding to 2 offices, new at Sacred Heart.
Fundraiser concept to use the parking lot at Pro Life.  9/11 auction, $25 tickets, at 676 Capital Hill.  Make
checks out to Birthright og Seattle.  60% of women coerced into abortion.  Youth: Bill Paulsen, no activity.
Recruitment/Admissions:  Sam Affronte, John Hurley, Syd Mills, Edwin Eugenio, Greg Lum, Tim Gately,
Cliff Filleau, Frank Keu and Aaron Suppinger. Baptism:  Bobby Buendia, 6 packets, 4 Knights provided 4 hrs
of volunteer.Tent city volunteers, 11 Knights 3 ladies provided 81 hrs.  Nat'l Night Out, 7 Knights, 28 hrs.
Salmon Bar B Q: John Mathewson, raised $1200, 68 seated then 77 seated, music by Blue Bananas.
Refrigerator:  Harry Mathewson, 2 yr profit of $49.48.  Blood Drive: Bobby Buendia, 22 pints collected.
Donations: K Schlosser, no activity.
Unfinished Business:  No activity.
New Business:  Chancellor Don Moran resigns. Motion accepted. Joe Pinedo is nominated.  Motion carries.
Chancellor job is keep an eye on vocations and welcome brother Knights.  Joe Brisson resolution of
condolence offered by Richard Foudray.  A letter will be sent to widow Zita Brisson.  Humanitarian award
from the Archdiocese needs a nomination.  Bill Paulsen begins discussion to nominate Fr. Lawrence.  Moved
committee.

Lecturer report from Norm Michel: No activity.
4th Degree:  Assembly 1707 meets 1st Monday ea. month.  Open to all 4th degree members. 
District Deputy report:  Del Treichel attended the Nat'l Convention in Dallas.  A rewarding experience.
Archbishop of Krakow, Poland gave a wonderful speech.
Grand Knight report:  Scott Bryan and family leaving to Pennsylvania.  Celebration of his departure will
be held at the picnic.  Sept 19th is first pancake breakfast, through Steve Warren.  Pete and Lanita
Tottenham have a new address.  Installation of officers to be held at the hall at 11 before the picnic on
Labor Day. 
Under Good of the Order:  Helen and Bud Edgar, M. Smith, Zita Brisson, Fr Lawrence, Jane Mathewson,
Tom Baginley.
