The Grand Knight read applications for membership approved by the Admissions Committee

The Council conferred the First Degree on the following: Michael Burns and Brian Frisbie
The Grand Knight reported as follows: 
1) Second and Third Degrees to be held this weekend, 2) Memorial Mass 11/19 @ 7pm in Chapel
will honor deceased members and spouses.
The Chaplain report as follows: No activity.
The Treasurer report as follows: checking $9512.26, CD $15638.25, Scholarship Fund $13817.27
Grand Knight read receipts: #710, $1301.97 fundraiser and donations, #711, $720.50
for Christmas cards and play.
The following communications were read: Letter read requesting support for breast cancer walk
by Cathy Jones. (Susan G Koman Fund)
The Chancellor report: 5 birthday cards sent out, read job description for Chancellor for review
by G.K.
Service Programs committees reports as follows:
Community: 5 Knights, 1 lady, 5000 lbs food 100 miles.
Church: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Youth: NS little league pledges thru sale of fund sharing from Joe Pinedo - based on sale of home donation, prolife poster coming due, substance abuse poster
coming due, free throw contest tentative for January, Brownie Troop making center pieces for
pancake breakfast.
Scholarship: Nov 20 Casino Night is fundraiser, tickets fron J Mathewson.
Council: Corporate communion breakfast, 49 hrs for 80 people.
Family: Family of Month, RoxAnne and Bobby Buendia, Knight of the Month, Kevin Harble
Unfinished Business: Humanitarian award, no news. Insurance claim from LY Christmas is being evaluated.  Has been paid by JCM insurance.
Columbus charities, tickets available from Pat Lyons. Christmas party for under priveleged kids 12/12.
New Business: St Brendans request use of hall for auction.  Donate hall for Bingo Night.  KC cookbook, 
collecting recipes by DGK.  Card nights 11/8 and 11/23, 7-9 in hall.  (2nd and 4th tuesdays)
Report of 4th Degree:  Report given on 2 assemblies suppoting our council.
Under Good of the Order:  Bud and Helen Edgar, Louise Jacobson, Rosemary Diaz, Theresa Davalla,
Cheryl Vivian and family, Fr. Lawrence, Chuck Nolan, John Gavin, Lisa Higby, John Flynn, Leo and Thelma
Moore, Jeff Anspaugh.  Br. Leo reported about Alpha program and Catholic Exploration program.
