The Grand Knight reported as follows: We are sponsoring  a new seminarian, Hector Ramirez, Yakima.
Rev T. Nguyen, sends us a letter (posted on the web), the Treichel family sent a letter of thank you,
Frank Love elementary school nurse sends a thank you and Catholic Community Services sends thank you
for shoe boxes.
The Chaplain report as follows: No activity.
The Treasurer report as follows: checking $10,377.46, CD $18,199.46, Sch CD $14,768.38
Grand Knight read receipts: Pennies from heaven and fundraiser #715, $2,509.45, #716, $1,647.30
Deposit of $1,132.50 and $514.80.  Bills, $60 for school auction ad, ($10 over budget). Vote to approve $10
carries.  Jim Anderson submits amount (not stated) for 04 summer meetings.  Amount was in budget.
The Chancellor report: 2 birthday cards, W. Beck and Rev T. Nguyen, 2 get well, A. Desmet, B. Pomada
and 1 sympathy card to S. Warren.
Auditor report: Audit report due 2/15
Service Programs committees reports as follows:
Community: 5 K, 51 hrs, 202 mls, 4700 lbs food delivered. 8 K, 1 spouse, 2 pints blood, on 12/21.
Church: Blessed Adoration, 7 K, 7 spouses, 17 hrs Friday Adoration volunteers. Volunteers for Ash
Wednesday needed Feb 9th.
Youth: Freethrow contest volunteers and clipboards needed 1/9. Brownies adding table décor for service
award at pancake breakfast 1/16.  Father/daughter dance date not set.
Family: Family of Month, Joe and Teresa Pinedo, Knight of the Month, Harry Mathewson.
Pro Life:  March in Olympia January 19th meet on capitol steps at noon
Council: Christmas party, 23 couples, 5 K, 2 spouses, 32 hrs. Pancake breakfast, Dec. 15 K, 70 hrs., $163,
suggestion to have Santa next year at breakfast to increase attendance. Underpriveleged Children party recap
as follows: 46 families, 112 gifts given, 188 meals, 15 K, 7 spouses, 117 hrs, $200 donation by Harry
Mathewson, $140 expenses.  Thank you's to Carey Miller and family for gift donations, Circuit City, Uncle
Petes Pizzeria, and Top Foods.  Great job by Joe Pinedo.
Cookbook sales of 75 for $750.  Budget $500.  Budget increased to $800 by vote.  Good job Richard Foudray.
Recruitment of 4 men and 2 first degree exemplifications awarded.
Standing Committees:
Donations: recommendation to donate to Morning Star boys ranch is made. Susan B Koman
fund has been recommended to not receive donation.
Car Sales of $2000 earned.  Wives Appreciation Dinner will use Alexis Café.  2/19, $20 ticket price.
Chicken Dinner: 1/22, tickets from Del Treichel, live music provided.
Unfinished Business:
Hunthausen Award dinner:  Attended by R. Foudray and B. Paulsen.  Fr. Minder receives plaque and does
not win award.
New Business:  $200 for tsunami victims approved.  Funds will be given to Supreme Knights of Columbus
and then to Catholic Community Services.  Check will be given to  State Deputy Pat Maloney.
$100 for midnight mass orchestra requested and submitted to donations committee.
Report of 4th Degree:  no activity
State Deputy report:  Pat Maloney talks about Columbus Charity and its significance to Special Olympics
as one if its primary recipients.  40 cents per dollar goes to council on ticket sales.  Please offer prayer for
Archbishop Brunett.
District Deputy report: 2nd and 3rd degree in Spanaway on 1/22. 1st degree on 1/16.
Under Good of the Order: 
Ken Schlosser, Del Treichel family, Jim Hurley, Larry Pricer and Virginia Pricer, Fr Minder, Teresa Pinedo,
