The Grand Knight read applications for membership approved by the Admissions Committee

The Council conferred the First Degree on the following: No activity.
The Grand Knight reported as follows:  Knight of the Month, Ray Deck, Family of the Month, Richard and
Kathleen Foudray.  Certificate of Appreciation awarded to J. Mathewson by Deputy G.K. R. Foudray.  Vest
award given to Bob Miller by J. Mathewson.
The Chaplain report as follows: No activity.
The Treasurer report as follows: checking $7990.56, CD $18,199.46, Sch CD $14,768.38
Grand Knight read receipts: Rcpt # 720, $902.78, #721, $1834.15, each for PFH, fundraisers and dues.
Deposits of $902.78, 2/18, $798.50, 2/4, $693.80, 2/4.
Bills: $9 for fabric to cover tables.  Presented to members by J. Mathewson, vote carries to approve bill.
The Chancellor report: 4 birthday cards, 3 get well cards to K Schlosser, D Bagnall, J Mitchell. 2 sympathy
cards to David Livingston and Charlie Beck.
Auditor report: No activity.
Service Programs committees reports as follows:
Community: 5 K's, 2 w's 67 hrs., 330 mls, 5100 lbs food delivered.
Church: Hospitality ministers, 5 K's 20 hrs.  Music Director 1 K, 12 hrs.  SOS 3 K's 9 hrs.  Blessed
Sacrament, Adoration, 10 K's, 20 hrs.
Council Events:  Bake sale, 3 w's, 2 daughters (note.  Needed more volunteers), 30 hrs., $429.20
Pancake Breakfast for Morning Star Boys Ranch:  $814.70 (cost $270.50), raised $544.20.  Vote carries
to donate $300 towards Boys Ranch.
Stations of the Cross, 8 K's, 3 female readers, 2 daughters for candles, 20 hrs.  Certificate of appreciation
and thank you letters will be given to Brownie Troop who assisted.  Awards will precede Potato Bake.
Wives Appreciation Dinner, Joe Pinedo Chmn., 76 attended, 92.5 hrs., rcpt $620.00, cost $1760.35, deficit of
$1140.35.  Report on file.  CD images of event on the website.  G. Lum selling photos for $2.
Pro Life:  G.K. B Buendia circulated a flyer on a Pro-Life conference.
Youth: Mar. 19 father/daughter dance $12.50/individual, $30/family.  Freethrow contest, 4 boys, 3 girls won
council, 2 boys, 2 girls won district.  Baseball sign in production, will contain ad for Knights hall.
Standing Committees: Scholarship committee requests due by 4/1 for review.  Charities, P Lyons, books
due by 4/1, 50 shy of goal.  Recruitment, L. O'Dore, 8 volunteer recruiters will call 5 homes each.
D. Treichel has $5 tickets for Potato Bake, 5:30 Mar 14 in the gym. Set-up Sunday evening and Monday.
Unfinished Business:  J. Mathewson is creating list of deceased members for honoring.
New Business:  Vote carries to pay one half for orchestra at midnight mass, J. Mitchell receives $150.
Vote carries to donate $300 to Morning Star Boys Ranch.
March 13-15 State Convention at the Doubletree at Tukwila.  Voted and carried to send 1st delegate, G.K.,
2nd delegate, District Deputy Del Treichel, 1st alternate D.G.K. Richard Foudray, 2nd alternate Steve
Warren.  Hospitality booth for outgoing State Deputy Pat Maloney March 14, 5-7 pm.  Vote carries to pay
reasonable and customary expenses for the 4 delegates.  Syd Mills appeals to our council for financial
support for the Filipino BLD and use of the Knights hall.
Report of 4th Degree:  Council 1707 dinner on Monday night.
State Deputy report:  Recapped state fundraiser for semanarians.  $80000.00 from Wa. Councils.  Supreme
provides $100 for every $500 donation from councils.  Give list to our State Secretary of our deceased and ill
members.
District Deputy report: Resolutions for State Convention due by 4/1.
Under Good of the Order: 
Kevin Kinsey, Ken Schlosser, Teresa Pinedo, Pope John Paul, Joe Pinedo's father-in-law, Marilyn Schlosser
and her mother, D. Valente, Jason Volk, Fr. Lawrence, Bud and Helen Edgar, Jerome Mitchell, Gerry Minder.
Closing Prayer:  S. Affronte led us in a rosary, the Luminous Mystery, The Institution of the Eucharist.
G.K. B. Buendia led us in a prayer for vocations.
